1. Who we are

PDFTransAI ("PDFTransAI", "we", "us" or "our") provides an automated PDF translation service. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@PDFTransAI.com.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

• the PDF file you upload for translation;
• your selected source and target languages;
• temporary job and processing information;
• technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, such as IP address, browser information and server logs where collected.

3. How we use information

We process uploaded PDFs and translation settings to provide the translation you request, generate the translated document, make it available for download, maintain service security, troubleshoot failures and operate the website.

4. Uploaded documents

Your uploaded PDF is processed by the PDFTransAI translation system for the purpose of producing the requested translated PDF. We do not currently use the contents of uploaded documents for advertising.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and authorization to upload and process each document.

5. File retention and deletion

Under the current application workflow, the uploaded source PDF is deleted after its translation job finishes. The generated translated PDF is retained until it is downloaded and is then deleted by the application.

Application-level deletion does not necessarily mean every copy disappears immediately from infrastructure-level backups, disaster-recovery systems, operating-system caches, security logs or other systems operated by hosting providers.

6. Machine translation

PDFTransAI uses an automated NLLB-based machine translation system. Your document is processed by the application's translation infrastructure to generate the requested output.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The current PDFTransAI service does not use Google Ads, Google AdSense, Google Analytics or other third-party advertising/analytics technologies as described by this policy.

Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used where necessary to operate, secure or maintain the website.

If we later introduce advertising, analytics, personalization, tracking pixels or similar technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement any consent or preference mechanisms required by applicable law before using those technologies.

8. Third-party service providers

We may use hosting, networking, infrastructure, email, payment or other service providers to operate PDFTransAI. Providers that process information on our behalf should receive only the access reasonably necessary to provide, secure or support the service.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by the service. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion or information about how your data is processed.

11. Children

PDFTransAI is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Do not use the service if you are not legally permitted to do so.

12. International processing

Depending on where our infrastructure or service providers are located, information may be processed in a country other than the country in which you access PDFTransAI. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, technology, applicable law or our data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
